The Indiana Cyclone of 2007 was a major cyclone that hit Indiana. It caused the flood stage in Lake Michigan to rise up to twenty feet. The Indiana Dunes were impacted directly. The tallest of the dunes, Mount Baldy, was shifted at least six feet. An average dune only shifts four feet a year.
